The Lents Neighborhood Association is involved in several projects, task forces and workgroups.

Urban Renewal Advisory Committee:Working with the Portland Development Commission to select the best urban renewal projects for the neighborhood. Liaisons:David Hyde, :Sia Sellu. Expected completion:Ongoing.

Friends of Trees: Working to increase the tree canopy in the Lents neighborhood. Liaison: David Hyde. Expected completion: ongoing. Organizes annual tree plantings in the Lents neighborhood. Buy a street or yard tree and have an expert team plant it for you!

Business Development Task Force: Developing and implementing strategies to recruit and retain businesses in the Lents Town Center. Liaison: Nick Christensen. Expected completion: Ongoing

Education Committee: Working to facilitate the best education for Lents students. Liaison: Rebecca Stavenjord. Expected completion: Ongoing

Foster-Woodstock Streetscape Project: Implementing streetscape improvements on the Foster-Woodstock couplet in the town center. Point of contact: Sue Lewis (PDC staff).

Lents Park Master Plan: Working with the Portland Parks Bureau to develop a new 25-year master plan for Lents Park. Liaison: Nick Christensen. Expected completion: Completed
