So, the wife and I placed an offer, back in October, on the house on 92nd that was the former location of the Green Line Barber shop. It's taken awhile to close because the house is a short sale. The good news is that we've gotten word from the bank that we are on track to close in Mid-April.

Shortly there after, I'll be working to find out what the space can be zoned as, and to get my business license going. The former barbershop will be where I do my work, open to the public or not.

Feel free to check out a little of my work at http://www.twelvizm.com

I hope to become an asset to the Town of Lent. Cheers!

Hi and welcome to the neighborhood.

The current zoning for that house is R2a, which is residential. But, you should check to see if the non-conforming use for the storefront is still in place. If that's the case, then you should be able to continue to use it as a storefront.

Where did you find the zoning information? I haven't looked into it yet. I was hoping that my assumption that it was a barbershop before, that it was already zoned as mixed-use. I see that diligence will be mine.

Nice. I've checked it out before, but hadn't noticed any zoning info. I'm getting very anxious for this deal to close. I can't wait to get moved and get everything together.

So the short sale portion of the deal is finished and agreed upon by the lenders. We are within weeks of closing, finally!!!

Once we get settled it, The wife and I would like to invite you all over for a BBQ to get to meet you all.
